Birdwatching
These are birds seen by guests at Temple House, over several years.
You may also be lucky enough to see: Red Squirrel, Stoat, Mink, Pinemartin, Badger, Otter, Fox and the 'Temple House Cat' This is 1/2m high and 1m long with a cat's face and in this generation are black, tabby or smoky Grey. The Coopers of Markree Castle imported the Scottish wildcat in 1880 and the TH cat is probably their cross with the feral cat.
J.C.Buys detected the following bats; Pipistrelle sp at coachyard; Whiskered in the rockery; [brown] Long eared and P. Pipistrelles by TH; Leisler's and Nathusius Pipistrelle by the castle and boat house.
