Terms and Conditions

Rates are quoted and charged in EUR inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Alternative currency rates are indicative only, are based on current exchange rates and are subject to fluctuation. Rates quoted are subject to availability and alteration. Special offers and certain periods may be subject to minimum stay requirements. Please note that the rates applying to children are inclusive of Bed and Breakfast only. The cost of additional children’s meals shall be paid on departure.

To make a booking you must enter the details of a valid credit or charge card legally held by you. A non-refundable deposit may taken. The balance of the accommodation charge as well as any additional costs incurred shall be paid prior to departure.

BEDROOM ACCESS

All bedrooms in the big house are accessed by stairs only. If you have specific mobility issues, please contact us directly to discuss options for the ground-floor cottage.

BEDROOM SPOILAGE OR DAMAGE
Management at Ballymaloe House Hotel reserves the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage caused by accidental, deliberate, negligent, or reckless acts resulting in damage to any part of our bedrooms. This may include the costs involved in deep cleaning, as well as any potential loss of revenue whilst the room is unable to be sold.

Weddings

Non refundable prepayment schedule. A bank transfer is preferred,

1,000 euro booking fee at time of confirmation.

1,000 euro 4 months out

The bulk of the food and an allocation of drink 10 days out

The rest at departure by transfer, VISA or MasterCard

If you are reselling the house and need some time to establish interest, it might be possible to hold the dates with no obligation for a period. It is will depend on the lead time.

50% B&B 6 months out
75% B&B 2 months out
100% B&B 10 days out

Cancellations & Refunds

If you decide to cancel your booking or cannot attend your event due to any reason that is outside our control, any payments you have already made become non-refundable. However, under certain circumstances we may refund part of the unspent and/or recoverable costs - where such are available. The availability and amount of such a refund cannot be guaranteed and remains fully at our discretion.

Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all information Temple House does not accept liability for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to change information and descriptions.
