As one of Ireland’s most exclusive country estate wedding venues, Temple House hosts a limited number of weddings annually — ensuring that every couple enjoys our full attention and the luxury of complete privacy on their special day.
Take an Exclusive Rental for your close family and friends. There is an estate cottage that sleeps 8 too. Shuttle the other guests to hotels in central Sligo really easily.

Check Your Preferred Wedding Date
We recommend checking availability as early as possible, especially for weekend dates between May and September. Many couples book 12–18 months in advance, though mid-week and off-peak weddings often have more flexibility. Simply complete our enquiry form with your preferred date, estimated guest numbers and style of celebration.
How to Reserve Your Wedding Date
Once you’ve chosen a suitable date, we can provisionally hold it for a short period while you finalise details. A deposit is required to secure your booking, giving you peace of mind that the entire Temple House estate — including the historic mansion and gardens overlooking the lakeside ruins of the Knights Templar Castle — is exclusively yours.
