How many guests can Temple House accommodate?
Simply put, this wonderful manor can adjust to suit anything from 6 to 160 guests. The sweet spot is up to 120.
Do you host more than one wedding per day?
Yikes, never. Your wedding is completely exclusive — the house and estate are yours for the duration. You will also note that you will usually be taking the house the night before too, so that you really relax into the place.
Is there a minimum number of guests?
No. We enjoy hosting smaller, intimate weddings too.
Can we use the gardens for our ceremony or drinks reception?
Yes, the terraced gardens overlooking the lakeside castle are spectacular.

How many rooms are included in the venue fee?
Ten bedrooms in the Big House, sleeping up to 20 guests, are included for two nights with a full choice breakfast.
Is there additional accommodation available?
Yes, the Cottage sleeps up to 8 guests in four bedrooms. It is optional.
Do you have recommendations for nearby hotels or B&Bs?
Yes, there are excellent local options for larger groups — we’ll provide a list on booking. It is a good idea to have all your extra guests stay centrally so that a shuttle bus is easy to manage.

Do you offer wedding packages?
No, every wedding is bespoke. We’ll work with you to create menus and drinks options that suit your style.
What are the typical menu options?
From relaxed buffets to four-course sit-down dinners, with canapés and late-night bites.
Can we bring our own wine or champagne?
We have a good wine list, and most people choose our house wine. If you would like to bring your own wine or bubbly, corkage is possible. Why corkage? Because we have a very large roof to maintain.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Absolutely. We accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free and other dietary needs.

How do we secure our date?
A booking fee secures your date. It’s non-refundable but transferable.
What’s the payment schedule?
The balance follows closer to the day — food and drink about 10 days out, and final adjustments on departure. See also Wedding Costs →
Do you have preferred suppliers?
Yes, we can recommend trusted florists, bands, photographers, and celebrants. Take a look at the resources page. Wedding resources →
What time does the party end?
Carriages by 2am, sometimes a little earlier if you prefer.
Is parking available?
Yes, plenty of onsite parking for guests. A shuttle bus does make life a lot simpler though.
