Food & Drink

Our philosophy is that it should look good and taste great using the freshest of local and artisan ingredients. Menus will vary according to your preferences and we are always pleased to discuss your ideas. 

Seated
We can seat up to 118 in one room, 160 between two gorgeous rooms on 5ft round tables.
If you plan an intimate gathering, something like 20 perhaps, that is good too, especially since you can all be seated on one gorgeous table. We just use less space and fewer leaves in the mahogany table for smaller parties to ensure that there is plenty of energy and fun. 

Buffet
We like to do the speeches before the meal in the garden or off the grand staircase so there is much greater flexibility. It means that we can also offer a buffet style party, usually for 50+, with free range seating – which might include sitting on the garden wall overlooking the lake.

Drinks
During the meal you should work on ~1/2 bottle of wine (~29 euro/bottle) per person with food and 1/3 bottle of Prosecco (~44 euro/bottle). We have an extensive wine list although most like our house red and white for its quality and value. We also run the pop up bar for you until carriages at 2 am. Selection of the Menu in Advance
We ask that you select from the following long menu to create your own for the evening. Your guests will then be asked to choose from your selection in advance please. It is actually quite easy and a useful RSVP tool. We do this because, as a Country House rather than a hotel, we do not carry a lot of stock. Also because we offer such an extensive menu it means that we do not offer tastings.
