Our beautiful County Sligo in the West of Ireland has long inspired writers and poets and truly has it all, from majestic mountains and rolling green hills to tranquil lakes and the crashing waves of the Wild Atlantic Way. Not to mention its ancient castles, vibrant music scene and creative culture, Sligo provides a unique and romantic backdrop for your special day.
Eloping allows you to focus on each other and celebrating your love, without the stress of planning a large wedding. You may decide to use an elopement planner or alternatively, we would be delighted to assist you. With over 20 years of party planning experience at Temple House we have a wealth of knowledge up our sleeves!

An authentic manor and award winning wedding venue with expansive grounds including terraced gardens, a lake and even a romantic castle ruin, all for your exclusive use.
The VIP Treatment
We will be on hand to take care of you personally during your time with us. Should you wish, our ‘Half Acre’ bridal suite is available to you for the all important hair and makeup preparations.
‘I Do’
Temple House Estate has the enviable possibility of offering several wonderfully romantic backdrops for your ceremony. You can choose to be married beside the lake beneath the castle of the Knights Templar or in the Italianate terraced gardens. However if the weather conditions prohibit an outdoor ceremony then we have 6 reception rooms to choose from in the majestic manor house.
Lights Camera Action
Take some time to capture this special day on film. Your photographer will be spoilt for choice for incredible backdrops. If you are looking for a truly unique and authentic wedding venue of your dreams then this is the place.
Fun, Laughter and Lots of Love
Enjoy a celebratory drink or two with your new husband or wife! Keep it traditional with bubbles or
we’d be happy to create a bespoke cocktail (alcoholic or non) for you both.
